The 2022 La Vendéenne [la vahn day en] Awards

International Encaustic Artists (IEA) marks the tenth year of the La Vendéenne Award program honoring artists, organizations or businesses who have contributed to the mission of IEA in supporting the growth and advancement of wax artists at all stages of their careers as well as providing opportunities and resources within a global community.  

Nominees for the La Vendéenne Award are solicited from IEA members at large.  Nominations will be reviewed by the Awards Committee with the IEA Board making the final selection.  

IEA will celebrate the next recipient at the La Vendéenne Awards Dinner at the biennial IEA retreat held next year, April 8-10, 2022 in Morro Bay, a small coastal community located on the central coast of California.  

Along with the coveted Award, designed by James Meyer, the recipient will receive a full scholarship to the retreat, a $1000 to apply toward travel and lodging and a $1000 cash gift. 

Nominations from current IEA members are now open and will be accepted through January 15, 2022.
